What is the parking situation?

Answer

The parking is not great. Del Monte beach is busy on the weekends, so carpooling is encouraged if possible! The two adjacent streets to the wedding site are Surf Way and Tide Ave., and both have limited street parking. Unfortunately, there is no available parking at the venue. If you are staying locally, an Uber may be the best option. If there is enough interest, we may book a shuttle. Please reach out and let us know.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain is certainly a possibility in April! We will likely get cozy in the reception room or brave the elements with umbrellas. Rain or shine, please plan for wind as afternoons can be breezy.

Where the heck are we going and what do we expect?

Answer

Great question! The pre-wedding picnic and reception will be held at the condo complex at 1 Surf Way. (there will be signage pointing everyone in the right direction). The ceremony will be held on Del Monte Beach, accessible from the Condo Complex (which is not the same area as the populated stretch of beach by the municipal wharf). Please wear comfy shoes suited for sand (or go barefoot!) and wood decking. The reception will be indoors and carpeted, but the deck will be open at all times for the sun, salt and views of the ocean (oh-- and the bar!!)

Answer

Yes. We are slowly adding items to Amazon and Crate+ Barrel Registries, but please note being able to celebrate our wedding with you is the perfect gift.
