Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark suits and ties.
The museum closes to the public at 6:00PM. Please arrive to the main entrance between 6:30PM and 6:45PM to be directed into the Redstone Theater where the ceremony will take place. The ceremony will start at 7:00PM and once it begins, the front entrance will be locked. Being on time is paramount. After the ceremony, guests will be led into the main area for the cocktail hour and reception. Bring your appetites and dancing shoes!!! At specifically announced times during the reception, guests will be allowed to explore the exhibits of the museum. Take full advantage of this because we are sure you'll find something fascinating and memorable. Our favorite is the Jim Henson exhibit! Don't miss it!

Sac's Place is an authentic Italian restaurant that opened in 1989. It's located a few steps away from the Museum of the Moving Image and directly on the site of Kaufman Astoria Studios. Numerous major motion pictures and hit TV series and been filmed at Kaufman including Sesame Street, Orange is the New Black, Law and Order, The Irishman, The Bourne Ultimatum, and our personal favorite, Moonstruck. Sac's Place has fed the stars of these shows and movies since their opening and the moment you enter and walk down the steps to its semi-underground space, you will feel at home.
