    Hi
    Our favorite places

Our favorite places

If you're looking for places to eat or get a drink while you're in town, below is a list of our favorite places.

Kuma's Corner Indianapolis

1127 Prospect Street, Indianapolis, IN 46203
, (317) 929-1287

Famous for HUUUGGGE burgers and decadent mac and cheese, but don't sleep on their Caesar salad.

Bluebeard

653 Virginia Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203
, (317) 686-1580

When Thad and I are feeling fancy, this is where we go. The menu might seem a bit scary (and pricey) but this is the best place to branch out and try something new. We especially love chef Abbi's cauliflower as our appetizer.

Heartbreaker

118 South Audubon Road, Indianapolis, IN 46219

This is our neighborhood burger joint. Thad swears their smash burger is the best in Indy (sorry Chris) and I love their Kentucky hot chicken sandwich. I also highly recommend their lavender cheesecake milkshake.

Landlocked Baking Company

120 South Audubon Road, Indianapolis, IN 46219

Right next door to Heartbreaker. Super cozy for your morning coffee and has tons of delicious baked goods. If you do go check it out, don't be alarmed if there is a long line. I promise it goes fast and is worth it.

Strange Bird

128 South Audubon Road, Indianapolis, IN 46219

Everyone needs a neighborhood tiki bar right? Can we talk about fresh oysters on Wednesdays? The chef is some sort of Ramen expert. Be aware that two drinks here will leave you feeling veeerrry good.

Imbibe

1105 Shelby Street, Indianapolis, IN 46203
, (317) 687-4857

Cheap drinks and low key atmosphere. Ping pong and pool upstairs.

Tappers Arcade Bar

501 Virginia Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203
, (317) 602-6411

You could spend hours here playing pin ball (this is the only game that requires money, so bring some quarters), mortal combat, and NBA jams while drinking delicious local craft beers.

Black Acre Brewing Co. Garden

5529 Bonna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219
, (317) 207-6266

We love the Garden and come often on nice weekends. We honestly considered getting married here. They offer beer and cocktails, as well as allowing well behaved children and dogs.

For all the days along the way
