Have questions? We have answers!
Question

Which airport is better to fly into, DEN or EGE?

Answer

EGE is the closer airport, but DEN is the more economical route with more flight options. From DEN, you can hop on a shuttle serviced by Colorado Mountain Express or rent a car and drive approx 1.5-2 hours to Vail. If renting a car, be sure to reserve your rental ahead of time.

Question

Will there be transportation provided to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Round-trip transportation to and from the ceremony and reception from Vail Village will be provided so no driving necessary. Shuttles will pick up all guests at main entrance of Manor Vail Lodge at 2:45pm and depart at 3:00pm sharp. Please arrive to pick-up area outside of main hotel entrance by 3:00pm to ensure a ride to the wedding festivities! Return shuttles will begin running from Camp Hale back to Vail Village starting at 8:30pm with last ride at 9:45pm.

Question

Q: What if I miss the shuttle to the venue?

Answer

Answer to this is don't miss the shuttle 😁, but if you do, call for an Uber/local taxi in the area to bring you to Camp Hale. Follow these driving directions as GPS will not be accurate: From Vail, Breckenridge, and Keystone: Get on I-70 and head west 1. Take the Minturn/Leadville exit 171 2. Proceed onto Hwy 24 for 15 miles until you pass mile marker 159, then turn into driveway marked by Nova Guides signage and drive toward lodge. Park where there is available parking spots. While the provided shuttles offer multiple drop-offs at the end of the night, there is only one pick-up time at the main entrance of Manor Vail Lodge to the venue. See Travel page for shuttle pick-up time and location details.

Question

What elevation is Vail Village and the venue of the wedding?

Answer

Camp Hale sits at an elevation of approximately 9,ooo', slightly higher than Vail Village. This means each alcoholic drink has the effect of having double or triple so do be careful with libations.

Question

What is the weather like in that area during that time of the year and how should I dress for the event?

Answer

High 60's during the day and dropping to 40's-50's at night making it a bit chillier so do bring something to keep you warm later in the evening. The attire is formal, but not black tie formal.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your kids, but we kindly ask that you attend the festivities without them for an adult-only affair.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would love to invite everyone to celebrate with us on our big day, we ask that you refer to your invitation to see if it is addressed to just you or you "and Guest".
