How We met: Steven and Stephanie matched on Hinge. We both did not expect things to go the way they did. Online dating was not what we both wanted or expected for love. Our first date: Our first date was different. Steven took full reins on this one. He decided we would drive down to Belmar for dinner at a tavern and then go to PNC for the Christmas light display. Stephanie (for some reason) was okay letting this man she just met two weeks before drive her an hour away to drive another hour and half back. While we got to the tavern, Stephanie realized her one best friend worked across the street. So, we went to say hello! We drove around the shore area for a bit and stopped in Ocean Grove by a lit-up tree and took our first picture together. Stephanie made the first move (; but it was worth it. It was the best first date we both had, and we had created many memories from it. How we got here today: We talked every day and never got bored of talking. Steven would come up to Stephanie mostly due to her crazy job schedule. Everything we did was opposite of what we were both used to but that is what made it work so well. Eventually, Stephanie moved out of her apartment and back into her parents, we thought this would be a huge transition, but it actually has been pretty good. Stephanie was graduating from her Master's and Steven thought it would be a great idea to propose then. The rest will be a journey that we are both looking forward too.
