Hotel
This is where we will be holding our ceremony & reception, and the only place to stay in the area. Please email Agnes directly, as the dates for our wedding will not be listed on any websites due to it being a private event. to book please email: info@leenanehotel.com Email subject line when booking "Seanie & Stephanie's Wedding" Booking will be available starting Wednesday March 25,2026. The Hotel will not be open to the public, on Wednesday the 25th and Thursday the 26th, so booking accomodations won't be an issue. The hotel opens to the public on Friday March 27,2026, so if you plan to stay please be sure you book at least the Friday as soon as possible.
Flight
There is one direct flight that flies out of SFO everyday at 5:30pm. You're of course welcome to take any flight that suits, but if you're looking to go direct Aerlingus is the way to go!
Shuttle

We are looking into renting a shuttle for all wedding guests to get from Galway into Leenane where we will be for the wedding. Leenane is an hour west from Galway and very much in the countryside. When RSVPing for the wedding please let us know if you will be in need of the shuttle or if you're choosing to rent a car and drive out yourself.
Travel Note
Once you touchdown in Dublin there's still a bit more travel to Galway. Option 1: Rent a travel car from the airport for your stay in Ireland. Just remember you're driving on the other side of the road! Option 2: You can take a bus directly from the Airport into Galway City centre, where our shuttle will be waiting for you to get you the rest of the way there. Below is the link for the timetable from 6:15am to 11:00 pm there is bus at 15 past and 45 past the hour every hour from Dublin Airport to Galway. https://www.citylink.ie/destinations/dublin-airport/ Option 3: If you decide to stay in Dublin city centre for 1+ nights before traveling to Galway here is your options. You can take a bus or taxi/Uber from Dublin Airport to Dublin city centre (likely 35-50 euro). When traveling from the City Centre you can use the CityLink bus still OR there is a train option from Dublin to Galway city Centre here is the link to view the timetable here: https://www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/accordion/pdf-timetables-(5)/dublin-heuston-galway Again there is a train roughly every hour starting at 9:00am until 8:30pm the train takes about 20-30 minutes longer though If you're looking to just stay in Leenane while you're here for the wedding no car is needed as everything will be walking distance. With that being said it is a very small village so if you're looking to explore we'd suggest the rental car.
