Through the Eyes of the Bride It was our freshman year at Villanova. I was watching the Steelers game with some new friends in their dorm room. If you've ever watched football with me, you know I can be a *little* loud in my encouragement of the team. Imagine that scenario when Sean walked in - some random girl is in his friends’ room yelling at the TV! He claims he thought I was “cool” but I’m skeptical. The Steelers lost and it wasn't until a few years later that I realized I scored a win.

Through the Eyes of the Groom By the time December 2018 rolled around Steph and I had been talking about getting married for months. She was beginning to question if I was ever going to propose...little did she know, it was just around the corner. After receiving the blessing from Steph's parents, the date of the proposal was finalized. (It was actually changed from December 8th to the 15th in order to accommodate the last day of the deer hunting season - I know the family I'm marrying into!) Fast forward to that evening, Steph and I are walking down Addison Street, her favorite in Philadelphia. She's joking about giving me an ultimatum, I'm praying it doesn't rain. But then she says the perfect line, "You know, this would be a good spot for you to propose.” Music to my ears! Because just a few steps later, that's exactly what happened. And now we (okay, mostly she) have been planning our perfect day ever since.
