Sammie and Stephanie met in 7th grade algebra. Their young adolescent rage brought them together, and they continue to rage against the machine as often as they can. Sammie was the ultimate wingman and helped put Scotty and Stephanie in touch that magical night that led them here.

Lindsey came into Stephanie's life as a mentor teacher. Their love for theatre and teaching caused them to quickly become close friends. They now work together with their students to create stories that are worth telling.

Alex Huang

Scotty's friendship with Alex started the same way most great friendships do—completely by accident and with low expectations. Within about five minutes, Scotty realized two things: Alex was hilarious, and he was going to be around for a long time. Since then, Alex has been a constant in his life, always showing up, always having his back, and usually making things more entertaining than they need to be.

Scotty and Joey met at a Walmart in 2007. Back then, Scotty was working as a loss prevention agent for Kmart, but that did not limit his work to Kmart. While he was at Walmart, he stopped a shoplifter when Joey showed up. Joey pointed to the Walmart sign and asked, "You know you're at Walmart, right?" Scotty replied, "Handcuffs. Now." Joey replied, "You heard the man—handcuffs." He went on to offer Scotty a job—but Joey's sister paid better at Home Depot.
