Benito Juárez International Airport (MEX) is the main airport in Mexico City and is a great option if you plan to spend time in the city before or after the wedding. The ride is about an hour without traffic. Felipe Ángeles International Airport (NLU/AIFA) is a newer airport located just outside of Mexico City and is further away than Benito Juárez Airport and can take up to two hours without traffic.
From Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez, there are ADO buses that run every hour to Tepotzlan. Felipe Ángeles International Airport does not have convenient public transportation. Both airports have on site car rentals. There are plenty of options for private car services & pre-booked transfers as well as shuttles & group transfers.
Early February in Tepoztlán is one of the most beautiful times of year, with warm, sunny days and cooler evenings. You can expect daytime temperatures in the mid-70s°F (mid-20s°C), with plenty of sunshine. As the celebration transitions into the evening, temperatures tend to drop into the high 40s–50s°F (low teens°C), so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap to stay comfortable throughout the night.
We encourage guests to embrace a sophisticated, fashion-forward look with personality and pizazz. This is your moment to dress up, have fun with fashion, and truly dress to impress. Think elevated elegance with a playful edge, statement pieces, bold accessories, chic tailoring, standout textures, vintage glamour, artistic details, and a touch of funky flair are all welcome. We want fabulous, expressive, and unforgettable. Feel free to make it fashion: dramatic earrings, unique shoes, colorful accents, interesting silhouettes, or that special piece you never get the chance to wear. The vibe is elegant, polished, and fun, where timeless style meets creativity and individuality. Please also keep the outdoor setting in mind and consider bringing a light layer for the evening, and feel free to make it part of the look, as this piece can absolutely be a statement too.
Unless your invitation includes a named guest, we kindly ask that you attend solo. Due to limited capacity, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate additional plus ones, though we truly wish we could celebrate with everyone. We’re so excited to share this special day with the people we know and love.
While we absolutely adore your children, we’ve decided to keep our wedding weekend adults-only. We hope this gives everyone the chance to unwind, celebrate, and enjoy a carefree weekend with us.
We recommend arriving with some pesos already on hand before getting to this small, beautiful town. While there are ATMs available, our celebration takes place during Carnaval week, so it’s best to be prepared. Most establishments accept card payments, but for small purchases and local taxis, cash is king.
The area around the venue is generally walkable, depending on where you’re staying. Taxis are readily available at all times and can also be arranged through your hotel. For your convenience, we’ll have taxis on call to help get you back to your accommodations after the celebration.
You all know we know how to throw a good party, and this weekend will be no different. The vibes will be immaculate, thanks to you. Dance when there’s music, know your limits, drink some water here and there, and if you feel like you might puke… aim for the bathroom. Most importantly, have a really good time.
