Things To Do
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
All guests will receive a free pass to the Safari Park for the day of the wedding. You can pick up your tickets at Will Call between 9am and 3pm. After 3pm you can pick them up at the Guest Check-In tables at the front of the park. You can go in the morning and come back later for the wedding, or just arrive early to check out the park!
Torrey Pines State Reserve
A great place to go hiking along the coast with a local iconic pine, red rock cliffs, stunning ocean views, and even a place along the beach to take a swim!
Balboa Park
A historic venue in San Diego with beautiful Spanish Colonial architecture that was host to multiple expositions in the early 20th century. Balboa Park is full of gardens, restaurants, museums, theaters, and the San Diego Zoo.
Gaslamp Quarter
The Gaslamp Quarter is a cool neighborhood in downtown San Diego with lots of great bars and restaurants. Note that it's about 30 minutes away from the hotels and venue, but very cool if you want to check out San Deigo nightlife!
Bernardo Winery
A charming winery in Rancho Bernardo with multiple shops and patios to drink some wine and bring your own picnic.
Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve
Great hiking! Lots of uphill switchbacks, so perhaps for the physically-inclined.
Lake Hodges
Great hiking very close to venue and hotels. Not super strenuous and excellent views of water and mountains -- you'll feel like you're in a Zelda game!
La Jolla Cove
This is a beautiful seaside location where you can view sea lions, pelicans, and seagulls relaxing along the cove. Walk along the seaside shops or stop in for brunch at a restaurant with ocean views.
