We met on a warm September day at the Kirby in Grand Haven, MI. It was our first date, and Steph curled her hair and Rob bought a new shirt. Those should have been our signs we were meant to be... We connected so well, conversation flowed so easily. We talked like we were old friends picking up where we left off. After dinner, we took a walk down by the pier. We sat for another hour sharing our past and experiences. We were both broken souls just looking to move on. From that day, we were committed to moving on together. Not a day has passed where we haven't shown up for each other, and now we're vowing to never forget that.
