It was a light and drizzly night on the south side of Chicago when a middle school teacher entered a dimly lit Hyde Park hotspot. As she sat just inside the entrance, a pediatric psychiatry fellow in a leather jacket walked in and looked at her with a question in his eyes: "...Stephanie?" Four hours later, the restaurant was closing down around them as they, sipping Liquid Swords wine, were lost in conversation about the shenanigans of her students and his patients. The rest, as they say, is his/herstory.

To celebrate their anniversary, Ravi and Stephanie traveled to sunny San Diego. There, they saw sleeping sea lions at La Jolla Cove, and watched the sunset from the beach. Having talked with Stephanie's best friend, Ravi hired a photographer and planned to surprise Stephanie with the proposal while doing something they both love: exploring nature. They walked along the Torrey Pines trail until they came to a spot overlooking the endless blue of the Pacific Ocean. On that last full day of their trip, two years from the night they met, Ravi asked Stephanie to marry him- and she said YES!

Join Ravi and Stephanie as they return to the Windy City to tie the knot at the Adler Planetarium. Guests will not only have access to the entire first floor of nerdy, informational exhibits, but will also have one of the most stunning views of the Chicago Skyline.
