We’re getting married!!

Rafael and Stephanie were looking forward to a family trip with Rafael’s family during the month of June.. Little did Stephanie know, Rafael, his mom and sister had other plans in mind. First stop of the 8 day trip was Los Angeles, California. In LA, we hiked to see the Hollywood sign, walked the boardwalk of Venice beach and had some yummy sushi in Malibu. Next stop was a 4.5 hour road trip to Yosemite! Yosemite was absolutely breathtaking from the waterfalls, the giant sequoias to the huge granite cliffs. On our last day at Yosemite we had a 8 hour guided bus tour scheduled. That morning Rafael asked our tour guide, Bill, where he recommended the best spot to pop the question. Bill said, “you have to do it at glacier point, with the view of half dome in the back.” After a full day of touring, we ended up at the top of glacier point. At that moment Rafael turned towards Stephanie and got down on one knee and asked to spend the rest of our lives together. With tears in our eyes and shaky hands the answer was “yes!” of course! The next day we were back on the road. Next stop: Vegas! We joked about getting married but we are so excited to be able to share our wedding day with our closest friends and family in February!
