We met the most romantic way possible: at work. We both started at Keene in 2018, and Steph knew she liked Q immediately. Q, however, was far too shy (and impressively oblivious) to notice… for several years. Eventually, Steph decided subtlety was overrated and made her feelings a little more obvious. (Okay, a lot more obvious.) Once Q caught on, things moved quickly—right into the “let’s keep this a secret” phase. We successfully hid our relationship from almost everyone… unless you ask Mrs. Deckers, in which case, apparently, we were not as sneaky as we thought. Now, after years of quiet crushes, not-so-secret secrets, and one very patient fiancée (Steph), we are getting married—and we promise this is the one thing we are no longer trying to hide. 💍
