Where can I stay?

Answer

There are many campgrounds nearby, a few hotel rooms, and some air bnbs. Grizzly Campground, Grasshopper Flats, and Lightning Tree Campground are close. You can book them on the recreation.gov website/app. Lake Davis Resort has a few motel rooms left (530) 832-1060. J and J's Grizzly Store and Camping may have some rv or camping spots (530) 832-0270.

Where can I park?

Answer

If you are just coming for the day, we will have extremely limited parking. We will have a shuttle that will be making stops at campgrounds, Lake Davis Resort and Airbnbs. This shuttle will drop you off at our property and take you back when you are ready. Let us know your plans, so we can help you find parking or let you know when the shuttle will be to your spot.

From Reno: Take highway 395 North to Hallelujah Junction. Take highway 70 until you get to Grizzly Road. Turn right. Turn left on Lake Davis Road. Turn left on Canyon Road-look for wedding signs. take second left on Sharon Way. Take first right onto Marilyn Drive. Follow up and around until you get to 7355 Marilyn Drive, Portola, CA 96122. If parking is full we will have people to direct you at the bottom of the hill and shuttle you up.
