While Stephanie is all about dressing fancy anytime she can, Paul hates to dress up. We want you to be comfortable, but please keep in mind that the venue is a church. If you wish to wear a ballgown - feel free to do so. If you are more comfortable in a pair of khaki shorts and a collegiate button down or polo - go for it (as long as it is not representing the team up north - if you know, you know). Shoes are required, however if your preferred type of shoe is a flip-flop that works for us. Ladies, don't worry, you may still kick off your cute heels once they start to hurt your feet! Most importantly, please do not stress yourself out by feeling that you need to go buy a new outfit (you know who you are). We are looking forward to celebrating with our friends and we probably already know how you dress anyway and still want to be friends with you. Bryanna has brought it to our attention that there is a TikTok trend about making sure that you don't wear the same colors as the bridal party. If that is a concern for you, Stephanie's attendants will be in steel blue and navy blue. Paul's attendants will be wearing grey suits.
YES! Please make sure that you RSVP for them, though. There will be a sensory friendly area set up for children who may need a break from the action. There will also be a small children's area with activities to help keep them entertained. There will not be childcare provided.
The reception is a dessert reception. There will be several types of sweet treats to choose from. There will also be a hot chocolate bar and hot apple cider, as well as coffee, tea, and water. Please note that alcohol is not allowed.
In addition to the typical music and dancing, Paul and Stephanie wanted to give their guests an opportunity for a little extra fun. There will be a scavenger hunt, trivia, and reception bingo. Don't worry - these are all activities you can do from your seat if you choose to do so. Look for more details at the reception!
