What is the dress attire?

Answer

1920s formal/party/cocktail attire. Great Gatsby vibes all the way! We recommend going for more of a subtle look not as much of a costume. However, if you want to wear a full on gangster striped suit we won't stop you! Suggestions for Attire: Women: Sleeveless, shapeless, ankle- to knee-length slip gowns accented with beading, sequins, fringe, and some feathers. Rich jewel tones, black & gold. Add to that some lavish accessories such as a diamond headband, silk shawl, feather fan, long pearl necklace, and gold arm bangles. Men: Three-piece suits with wide lapels and high rise cuffed trousers in stripes, plaid, tweed and wool suiting. Sweater vests, long overcoats with wide lapels or shorter plaid mackinaw jacket. Bowties, flashy neckties, v-neck vests, suspenders, Homburg hats/fedoras, newsboys hats, pocket watch. For a flashier appearance go for tailcoats, top hats, shoe spats, and gold-capped walking sticks. What if I can't come because I already have plans?

Answer

That's ok, we get it. We know we're doing this thing last minute and still want to be your friend. We are asking guests to please let us know as soon as possible if you do not plan to attend.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes until 8:30pm. Join us afterwards at Pickwick Pub located at Antrim 1844 to keep the party going (cash bar)

Do you have a room block at any of the hotels listed?

Answer

No, we do not have a room block as our guest list is small and we would like to give guests multiple options to accommodate each guest's needs.

Question

Will I need a rental car if I don't live locally?

Answer

Maybe. The venue is about one hour away from the airport and there is not public transportation. Contact Paul or Stephanie and we may be able to arrange a pick up/drop off to the airport. If you want to explore the area, you will need a rental car.

Can kids come?

Answer

Yes! We will try to make this wedding as kid friendly as possible for you as many of our friends and family have young kiddos. All of the events kids are welcome to attend. For the reception, please let us know if you need a kids meal (for children under 12).
