Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The hotel is located halfway between the ceremony (Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church) and reception (Talamore Country Club) venues. Both venues are a short ~10 min drive or ride-share from the hotel. There is plenty of free parking at both locations! If you prefer to leave your car at Talamore overnight and pick it back up in the morning, they do allow overnight parking.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle at the end of the night from the reception venue back to the hotel (Holiday Inn Express & Suites). Please plan to take the shuttle back if you will be enjoying our open bar. For transportation to the ceremony and to the reception, we ask guests to consider carpool and rideshare options. There is plenty of parking at both locations and you can leave your car at the reception venue overnight if you take the shuttle back at the end of the night. Is there a dress code?

We want everyone to feel comfortable and festive! Please consider wearing semi-formal or cocktail attire that makes you feel good.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are incredibly excited to celebrate the day with the people who have helped us grow throughout our lives and as a couple! To keep our wedding day intimate and special, we are inviting our family and friends who we know well. All invited guests are named on the invitations. Thank you for your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

We're so excited to celebrate with all of our favorite people who mean so much to us! All invited guests are named on the invitations. If your invitation mentions your kids specifically, they're invited-- otherwise, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for a child-free evening. Thanks so much for understanding!

What should we do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We anticipate the ceremony ending around 4:00 pm, and our cocktail hour will begin at 6:00 pm at Talamore Country Club. This gives you plenty of time to head home or back to your hotel to freshen up, relax, or even take a quick nap! If you're in the mood for a drink or a little social time before the reception, we recommend Fireside Bar & Grille, which has Happy Hour from 4-6 on Saturdays. There is also a bar/restaurant at Talamore if you prefer to head there early. Feel free to explore, unwind, and we'll see you soon at the reception!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Fort Washington, PA. The room block code is provided on the website under the Travel tab. You need to book by April 22 to use the room block. Another recommendation is Homewood Suites in Horsham, though we do not have a room block there.
