If you want to be closer to the venue, look near the NORTHEAST side of the island (Kaneohe & Kailua). If you want to be closer to the ocean and tourist activities, look near the NORTH side of the island (Haleiwa, North Shore, Laie). If you want to be near Waikiki, check out the hotels in the area instead.
