It's finally happening!

They met way back in high school when Michael transferred into Stephanie's Spanish class. By fate, Mrs. Caballeros sat them next to each other and they just clicked. Michael, being the shy sophomore, never thought Stephanie, the cute Junior, would ever go for him. After months of patience, Stephanie finally decided to steal Michael's phone and put her number in it. Since that day, they have been inseparable.

Their love for each other blossomed as they literally grew up together. From Friday nights at the roller rink to Friday nights spent internationally traveling the world or from enjoying all the wonders that college cafeterias had to offer to finding their love of cooking together in their own kitchen. They were there for each other for all that life in those 10 years threw at them, the few horrible moments but mostly the awesome ones! They both obtained their degrees, landed great jobs, bought a house together and became puppy parents to little Benjamin and this is just the beginning of their love story.

After much push back from Stephanie, Michael was finally able to convince her to do a photoshoot on the beach to "have nice photos for their new house." He took her to the place where he gave Stephanie her promise ring back in high school - the Corona Del Mar tide pools. After taking a few photos from a tripod Michael had set up, he told her to stay put because he needed to get a prop. Stephanie couldn't help but think the worst, she was already embarrassed to be taking photos. Was this prop going to make it worse? Then, Michael walked over with a ring box, got down on one knee, said some sweet nothings and finally popped the question! Stephanie of course said, "YES!" Following the proposal, Michael brought Stephanie back to his parent's house where both sets of immediate families were there for a surprise engagement dinner. Everyone was in on the proposal surprise! It was a perfect day! We're so excited to celebrate our decade of love with you and this next chapter in our story. See you in July!
