Question

Is the ceremony at a different location than the reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the same location; Garvan’s Gastro Pub. The ceremony will hopefully be outside, behind the restaurant. The reception is indoors in the red building between Garvan’s and Maggie Maes.

Will there be transportation from the hotels?

Answer

We hired a 14-person bus to pick people up at the Hampton Inn by Hilton and the America’s Best Value hotels. They will make two trips if needed to Garvan’s. They will pick up at 12:15pm and 12:45pm. After the reception they will bring people back to the hotels at 6:15/6:30pm and around 8:15/8:30pm. There are also many cabs and Ubers/Lifts available in New Paltz. What will happen after 6pm?

Answer

The bride and groom invite guests to hang out next door at Maggie Mae’s and possibly out in town after. We’re leaving that open ended for now. There are tons of other spots open in town if looking for more dancing and entertainment. (Huckleberry, Clemson Bros. Brewery, Bacchus, P&Gs, and Schatzi’s, to name a few)

Are children invited?

Answer

Kids are allowed, but only close family: As much as we love and adore all of the children in our life, we are only able to invite a few close family members’ children; especially those traveling a distance.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress respectable ;) Cocktail attire or business casual is preferred.
