Our wedding will be at Cigarral de las Mercedes, a beautiful estate in Toledo, Spain (about 1 hour south of Madrid).
From Miami (MIA) there are nonstop flights to Madrid (MAD) with Iberia and American Airlines (about 8-9 hours). From Orlando (MCO) or Tampa (TPA) you’ll usually have a short layover (often in Miami, New York, or Atlanta).
Flight time: ~8-9 hours from Miami, 10-11 with a layover. Also Spain is 6 hours ahead of Florida.
Try to sleep a bit on the overnight flight, drink lots of water, and if you arrive in the morning, stay awake until the evening to adjust quicker.
We’ve put all detailed options (train, transfers, shuttles, etc.) on our "Travel" page.
There’s so much to see and enjoy around Toledo and beyond! From charming old streets to day trips and cultural highlights. Check out our "Things to do" page for some inspiration.
In Toledo, April usually brings mild spring weather: daytime highs around 65–70°F (18–21°C) and cooler evenings around 50°F (10°C). We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for evenings outdoors.
Meals in Spain are later than in the U.S. Dinner often starts at 9pm. Don’t worry! We’ll keep everyone well-fed at the wedding!
