Where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding will be at Cigarral de las Mercedes, a beautiful estate in Toledo, Spain (about 1 hour south of Madrid).

What’s the best way to fly to Spain from Florida?

Answer

From Miami (MIA) there are nonstop flights to Madrid (MAD) with Iberia and American Airlines (about 8-9 hours). From Orlando (MCO) or Tampa (TPA) you’ll usually have a short layover (often in Miami, New York, or Atlanta).

Answer

Flight time: ~8-9 hours from Miami, 10-11 with a layover. Also Spain is 6 hours ahead of Florida.

Any tips for jet lag?

Answer

Try to sleep a bit on the overnight flight, drink lots of water, and if you arrive in the morning, stay awake until the evening to adjust quicker.

In Toledo, April usually brings mild spring weather: daytime highs around 65–70°F (18–21°C) and cooler evenings around 50°F (10°C). We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for evenings outdoors.

Meals in Spain are later than in the U.S. Dinner often starts at 9pm. Don’t worry! We’ll keep everyone well-fed at the wedding!
