We worked side by side for years without really speaking. I was the head bowling coach for Special Olympics when I asked Mark if he would help out as a coach. it seems like such a long time ago. We both suffered a loss in our lives and found each other as a lifeline to our next chapter.
Mark and I seemed to both enjoy going to Home Depot. Mark was building up his story of why we needed to go, "I need to get knobs for the cupboards", he kept telling me. I think it was a couple of months. Finally we got to go and get the knobs and in the bin was my ring. He got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. of course I said, "Yes!" We both had tears of joy in our eyes.
