Will there be assigned seating?

Answer

Nope! Feel free to sit where you'd like, so long as the happy couple is seated together.

Do I have to wear a suit?

Answer

Nope! But a pair of dress pants and a button-down is preferred.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will have complimentary wine and beer options. If you'd like something with a little more kick, feel free to hit up the bartenders in the main dining room for some lovely specialty cocktails.

Will the event be inside?

Answer

No, the event is an outdoor event. There is a covered and non-covered area. Weather permitting, we will be able to enjoy the stars with our dinner. It is a no-smoking area. If you'd like to enjoy a cigarette you will have to venture to the back of the parking lot to do so.

Will we have to wear a mask?

Answer

At present, the venue does not have a required mask mandate, though the city of Decatur does. You will have to wear a mask to venture inside the restaurant to visit the restrooms. You may remove them when you are eating and drinking, or taking pictures. If that changes, we will revise.

What's on the menu?

Answer

For appetizers, we will have Fried Calamari with spicy hoisin and mayhaw-citrus sauces and crisp banana peppers; Pimento Cheese Fritters with tomatillo jam; and Grilled Polenta with local wild mushrooms, black truffle olive oil, and parmigiano-reggiano. We will have a Mixed Green Salad of organic field greens, carrots, tomatoes and a honey balsamic vinaigrette. For entrees, Charleston Shrimp & Grits, sautéed and simmered in a tomato cream sauce over creamy stone ground white cheddar grits; Parmesan Encrusted Chicken, baked golden brown in dijon and parmesan; Mediterranean Pasta in a tomato-basil sauce, with mixed olives and goat cheese; Aged Angus New York Strip with tamarind steak sauce. Our chef prepares our NY Strip medium rare. For sides we will have mashed potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables. For desserts, we will have Bread Pudding with a rich bourbon glaze; Butterscotch Pot de Crème, a butterscotch custard with vanilla whipped cream, Maldon sea salt, and caramel sauce.
