Karla Birkel

Maid of Honor

Karla originally came into my life as my riding instructor when I was in middle school. Long hours at the barn, and horse show weekends laid the foundation for the friendship we have today. After college I put an end to driving back and forth to the barn, and moved in with Karla on the Farm. Throughout the years, Karla has worn many hats for me, all of which fit her tiny head perfectly. When it came time to choose my maid of honor, Karla was the natural choice.

Elizabeth Minten

Bridesmaid

Elizabeth and I met in kindergarten when we were placed in the same class. She is my first and longest friendship. We spent almost 13 years seeing each other almost every day. Our favorite past time together was playing The Sim's both together and separately. Our friendship was even strong enough to survive that time Elizabeth killed my Sim's nanny.

Emie McGee

Bridesmaid

Emie and I met at Gunby, the barn on Berry's campus. Emie and I were both boarding our horses there, and spent many weekends wandering through Berry's woods. When our senior year rolled around, Emie and I lived together. Over the years we have bonded over our love of animals and the outdoors.

Laz Naranjo

Best Man

I met Laz about 15 years ago when I lived in Walhalla and quickly bonded over football (even though he roots for the wrong team). Over the years, we celebrated many Thanksgivings, New Year's , Superbowls, and FSU-Miami game together. He may not live in the area anymore but is still my closest friend.

Joshua Martins

Groomsman

I met josh some 33 almost 34 years when he was just a wee lad. Basically we grew up together over the next 15 years. From Massachusetts to South Carolina, family trips, etc.

Tobi Martin

Groomsman

I met Tobi about 4 years ago on my first trip to climbing gym. We've been climbing and eating Mexican food together since. Tobi also introduced me to the woodworking guild. Indoor climbing, outdoor climbing trips, pool parties, memorial day cookouts, and more.

For all the days along the way
