Question

Who can I contact with questions regarding hotel reservations, flights, and airport transfers?

Answer

Please contact our amazing travel coordinator Annie at guests@paradiseweddings.com or by calling 877-737-0177 x 150.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

If your invitation specifies "{Your Name} & Guest" then yes, absolutely! We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests due to a limited capacity. Please feel free to contact Keaton or I if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed. Please fill out the RSVP tab of this website at your earliest convenience.

Question

What should I wear for the wedding events?

Answer

Welcome party: casual white attire - Men: white polo or button down (short sleeve okay) + jeans or khakis (shorts okay too) - Ladies: white dress or blouse + bottoms of your choice For the ceremony, we would love to have our loved ones get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is all black formal attire! - Men - suit or sports jacket (no tie required). Please no denim pants. - Ladies - floor length, tea-length or midi formal dresses/jumpsuits. Reception: please feel free to change into an outfit that your are comfortable in to dance the night away FYI: Ladies please keep in mind that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception space will be outdoors on a wooden deck so no stilettos. Platform heels, wedges, or sandals would be more comfortable.

Question

Can I wear white, ivory, or cream color to the ceremony?

Answer

No, please let the bride have her day.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Secrets Moxche is an adults-only resort and no children have been invited to this event. Although we love your little ones, we would like you all to enjoy this weekend and treat it as a vacation!

Question

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. At the welcome party, after the ceremony, and throughout the rest of the weekend please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes!! Please make sure that passports do not expire 6 months before travel time. Plan accordingly as passport renewals and new passport applications can take up to 3 months to arrive. For more information please visit this site. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html

Question

Gifts?

Answer

We are so grateful for the effort you'll be making to join us for our destination wedding. So please, no gifts!

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Do NOT forget your passport! Secrets Moxche has a casual, relaxed vibe. Pack a lot of swimsuits and casual day wear. At night, most of the restaurants have a "casual elegance" dress code. This entails: sneakers/tennis shoes or dress sandals, dress shirts with short sleeves or collared shirts. No sleeveless shirts or flip-flops. Long pants required for men. The guest rooms are equipped with sunscreen, bug spray, dental kits, shaving kits, sewing kits, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.

Question

Do I need to make dinner reservations for the restaurants?

Answer

No. The restaurants at Secrets Moxche do not take reservations, instead, they operate on a first come first serve basis. All of the restaurants open at 6PM. To avoid a wait, it is best to be there at this time. If you do not mind waiting/want to eat a little later, you will receive a beeper while you wait for your table to be ready.
