We met through mutual friends during our first year at UAF. One night when we were all hanging out in their dorm room Josh drew a picture on my foot. This sparked a longer conversation that led to him asking me out on our first date- Tai food. After getting our degrees, moving through many housings, meeting the families near and far, many Tai food dates, and testing our relationship over long distance, he decided that I was a keeper! We went on a road trip on a weekend in June 2025. In the snow, we ended up going on a hike in Denali National Park. This was where he popped the question! And I said yes! A lot happened that summer as we made a house our home. We were so excited to get married that we couldn't wait! We eloped on September 29th 2025 on a fall afternoon. We now hope to celebrate with our friends and family on August 30th, 2026 during a full ceremony and reception in Fairbanks!
