We're getting married!

We first met in our sophomore year of college at Purdue University. We'd both transferred into the same major that year which lead to us sharing a lot of classes together and becoming very good friends. After graduation, we both happened to be moving out to Los Angeles (Josh had an internship and Stephanie was continuing her education out there) and decided to be roommates. After summer Josh was offered an amazing opportunity on the East coast. We parted ways and lost touch. Fast forward to a year later - missing each other, we reconnected and rekindled our friendship. It was soon very apparent to both of us that we had strong feelings for one another and so in April 2014 we began dating.

On a beautiful summer day in July, four and a half years after beginning to date, we decided to go on a hike. We ended up in Mt. Beacon State Park in New York and were exploring along the many trails. We stumbled upon a waterfall and stopped to admire it. I turned around and Josh was on one knee and proposed. I, of course, said yes! Right before bursting into tears of joy. We are so excited to share this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Vermont!
