Redondo Beach is only a mile away from home. Sometimes we follow the narrow, blackberry-lined narrow road shoulders to the beach for sunset. If you are there very early, you can stop by the local college's marine biology study aquarium, MaST. MaST is open from 10 am - 2 pm and admission is free.
