FAQs

This section will be updated as we get closer to our wedding date =)
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all our guests to relax and enjoy the evening, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. We would love to celebrate with all of your little ones, but unfortunately are not able to given the space requirements of the venue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Our phenomenal vendors need ample time to plan accordingly so we ask that you please RSVP as soon as you know if you’ll be attending (or not!). November 30th, 2026 is our deadline to RSVP.

Question

What if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

If we don't receive your RSVP by November 30th, 2026 it will automatically be marked as "no". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

How do I get to the Hotel?

Answer

Once you have submitted your travel information (lodging & flight information), our amazing planner is coordinating different group shuttles to pick up wedding guests from/to SJO airport to the resort.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is tropical formal — elegant, fresh, and suited for the coastal weather. Linen suits, flowy dresses, and dressy sandals are perfect options.

Question

What's the best airport to fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). It’s the most convenient option and is located about 1.5 hours from Playa Herradura.

Question

Is the hotel all-inclusive?

Answer

For your convenience, we’ve secured a room block at the hotel. While we’ll be providing food and drinks during our wedding celebrations, the hotel itself is not all-inclusive, so additional meals and beverages will be at guests’ discretion.

Question

What happens if I can't make it to the wedding?

Answer

Don't worry! We understand that destination weddings can be very tasking of our guests and understand all the planning and coordination it may require. Please don't feel discouraged if it's just not in your cards to attend. We are still planning to organize a smaller BBQ style celebration in the Summer of 2027 for those unable to attend the wedding. It will be a smaller & more intimate event for those unable to travel. We are creating a space for everyone to celebrate with us, here or there =)
