Just a small town boy from Burlington, North Carolina and a city girl from Miami, Florida who shared the same dream: to live in NYC. Once in NYC, they had the best time and made great friends and memories. On November 16, 2019, they matched on the dating app Hinge and then on November 23, they had their first date at Jon’s favorite bar in the city, Rudy’s. Since then they’ve gone through many life adventures together and can’t wait to celebrate with their friends and family the beginning of their best adventure yet.

On October 2024, Jon and Stephanie were supposed to go to the North Carolina mountains to see the fall foliage but when Hurricane Helene hit 2 days before their arrival, they had to find a new place to visit. They decided to visit Yosemite National Park because Jon knows that “Stephanie loves pretty views”. The very next day they flew to Yosemite and spent three days there. On their last afternoon, Jon took Stephanie to a special spot by the water near the Yosemite Chapel and proposed. It was a magical trip!
