John and Stephanie Are Getting Married!

John and Stephanie met in 2012 shortly after Stephanie moved to California. Mainly relying on cheeky texts to one another, Stephanie convinced John to join her for Ojai Oktoberfest on October 6th, 2012. Their first date was filled with laughter, good conversation, and a perfect Ojai Autumn day. They knew they had found something special when one weekend together turned into two, and two into three, and soon they were spending every weekend together sharing time between Lancaster and Ventura. John moved to Ventura in 2014 to be closer to Stephanie, and they then moved together to San Diego before settling in Seattle (for now) where their dog Scout joined them in 2020. Over the years, John and Stephanie have always been up for an adventure and have traveled with friends throughout California and together to Costa Rica and Japan. They have always supported each other through life’s biggest challenges. While the pandemic put a damper on their globe trotting, they have kept adventuring lately throughout the Pacific Northwest with Scout. Each day they are together is truly an adventure. John proposed just after a trip to Vancouver, B.C. in February 2022 where they decided the best date would have to be eleven years to the day from their first date. John and Stephanie are excited to share vows as they continue their life together as husband and wife. They are grateful for the chance encounter that brought them together, and can’t wait to continue on as their journey as partners for life by sharing this next phase with all their favorite people.
