La Aurora International Airport (GUA)

The closest airport to Antigua is La Aurora International Airport (GUA) in Guatemala City. We highly recommend coming in on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon/evening to partake in all of the festivities. American airlines non-stop flights are available from DFW to GUA. Most guests are planning their trip from Wednesday Nov 18-Sunday Nov 23.

If you need help booking private airport transportation, please fill out the form, via the link provided, with your travel details and our planner, Darya, will arrange a private driver to pick you up. Prices detailed on the google form. Uber is also widely used and available for your convenience. Darya will also be able to assist you in coordinating travel in and around Guatemala during your stay. It is more expensive than public shuttles that take you places such as Lake Atitlan and El Paredon, but they are reliable, more comfortable and faster. These rides are with trusted drivers who will take you exactly where you need to be.

A shuttle will be running from our wedding venue (Finca San Cayetano) back to Antigua on the night of our wedding. Our first shuttle leaves at 8:00pm for all you early birds whose flights leave early the next day.

We have a second shuttle for those who want to head back from Antigua before it gets too late. The drive should take no more than 35 minutes and you will be dropped off at Central Park, where you can call an Uber to your respective hotels and accommodations.
