We both met for the first time at a party with friends. And when we first laid eyes on each other we knew it was something special. It took a while for him to ask her out, but he eventually did. On the first date we went fishing and Steph caught 5 fish and although Jesse did not catch any, he was a good sport and took all of them off the hook for her. We went to a J. Cole concert together and on that night he asked her to be his girlfriend and its been love ever since!

In 2020 after the first wave of COVID hit, it was time for a vacation! One of Steph's Grandfathers favorite places to go was Ogunquit, Maine and he kept saying how he wanted to take us there so bad. Unfortunately Pa passed away unexpectedly in 2019 and we did not get to go. We booked a trip to Ogunquit for a weekend getaway. After arriving we went for a walk on one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States. We went down by the water and Jesse grabbed Steph by the hand and got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife! It was one of the most beautiful, intimate moments that we can never forget!
