We're getting married!

It started with an invite sent to Stephanie from Blanca for Happy Hour after work, which resulted in a day trip to Lake Charles with her husband Chase and their friend Jeremy. Stephanie knew Blanca and Chase from High School and Jeremy met Chase in the Fire Academy. In the small world we live in, the Mcentees invited the only single and childless friends they knew. Day two of the trip while sitting at the bar in the Golden Nugget, Stephanie and Jeremy realized that they had a lot in common. From Brand New being their favorite band in High School to having a very similar upbringing. The trip was over but both were not ready to part just yet.

The couple stayed in the beautiful Riu Peninsula Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Stephanie was under the impression it was a vacation celebrating a Belated 31st Birthday/Valentine's day gift. Little did she know Jeremy had bigger plans for the trip. Filled with anticipation, Jeremy suggested Stephanie put on her best dress for a nice walk down the beach. There was private beach access just for the resort, where they found themselves alone enjoying the ocean view. Jeremy then gets down on one knee and asks for Stephanie's hand in marriage. Naturally, Stephanie stops, looks around and asks the lifeguard who happened to be standing there watching to capture the moment. Eventually, Stephanie said yes!
