Jason became friends with Stephanie’s older brother, Caleb, at Whitewater Middle School. While Jason and Stephanie met around this time, it wasn’t until high school that they started spending more time together. In the summer of 2013, Stephanie, Jason, and Caleb went on a road trip with their close friend, Allie, to her family’s lake house in Wisconsin. Each night, Stephanie and Jason ended up sitting on the dock together, admiring the millions of stars that aren’t visible from the Atlanta suburbs. It was one of these nights when they decided they wanted to be more than friends. Little did they know they’d be getting married almost 8 years later!
