We're Getting Married!

Jason and I met during the hiring process for the Fort Wayne Police Department. We all were being seated to take the Written exam. I sat down with a few other people at the table. I noticed a guy that I went to high school with and we began to talk about the test. That's when this cute white guy with piercing blue eyes and the biggest smile turned around and joined our conversation. It's not like I wasn't nervous about the test already. I found my self getting hot and sweaty. I remember telling myself to keep it together and to focus on passing the test and not this cute guy sitting in front of me. About one week later I went out with a few friends and ran in to Jason. We had a short conversation but it was definitely memorable. It was like a little spark was set off between us. That following morning Jason slid into the DMs and the rest was history. I fell in love with my Best Friend.

I knew Jason was going to pop the question sometime soon I just had no idea when. We decided to celebrate my birthday in Indy with some of our closest friends. I had the time of my life it was definitely one of the best birthday's I have ever had. The following day after we got home from Indy we decided to go out to eat for dinner. Once we were finished eating all I wanted to do was get home so we could watch the rest of The Walking Dead. On the drive home Jason was being really quiet and I just sensed that something was up. The thought of Jason proposing did cross my mind but I thought no way he wouldn't plan it for tonight. We pull into the garage and we walk inside. It was dark and all I could see was candles glowing from the kitchen. I then see a huge crowd of our friends and family shout SURPRISE! I turn around and there Jason is kneeling on one knee holding out one of the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. Then he asked, "will you marry me?" with the most nervous voice and I immediately said YES!! My house was covered in white Balloons and decorations I was so surprised it was gorgeous! Everyone enjoyed cake, desserts, and took pictures. It was a wonderful night to remember. Now LET'S GET MARRIED!!
