What is the dress code?
Answer
This will be a black tie affair. See dress code below: Women: -Gowns and tea length dresses -Jewel colored tones are encouraged (Navy, cobalt blue, burgundy, gold, silver, emerald, purples, magenta, black, etc.). -Leopard prints, sparkles, feathers and fur are acceptable! How should I RSVP?
Answer
You can RSVP by mail or through our website. By Mail: We have provided self-addressed envelopes to your invitation. Please check off if you will attend or cannot attend. If you are attending, please list everyone's name in your party. By Website: Please visit the RSVP section of our website and type in your last name in the search bar. Your party will pop up and you will be able to check off if you can attend or not.

If your invitation did not have a plus one, please reach out personally to Jared or Stephanie so we can do our best to accommodate you.

What if I RSVP'd "No" originally but find out I am able to attend?

If you originally RSVPd "NO" via MAIL, please reach out to Jared, Stephanie or your point of contact in order for us to update our seating chart arrangements. If you originally RSVPd "NO" via Website, please update your RSVP through our website.

What if I RSVP'd "Yes" originally but end up getting sick or not being able to attend?

Will there be transportation from the hotel that I am staying at?
Answer
There will be transportation from the Hilton Garden Inn Wayne. For those staying at the nearby Marriott, please walk to the Hilton Garden Inn to meet for transportation. If you are choosing to stay at a different location, you will need to provide your own transportation. We recommend Uber or Lyft.

Is there a welcome party for out of town guests?

We are currently working on finding a place to welcome our friends and family who have traveled from afar. We will update this answer by November.

We will do our best to provide gluten-free options and yes, there will be a vegetarian option for dinner.

What time should I actually arrive to the venue?
Answer
Please arrive to the venue at 5:00pm if you would like to attend the ceremony. We can accommodate seats for the first 240 guests. Due to limited space, some guests will have to stand outside of the ceremony room, but will still be able to watch the bride walk down the stairs and aisle.

What is the difference between the ceremony and the reception?
Answer
The ceremony is when the bride and groom exchange vows. The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes and will be followed by cocktail hour where food and drinks will be served. The reception begins at 7 o’clock and is when dinner will be served and the party begins.

Do I have to attend the ceremony?

No, you do not have to attend the ceremony. If you wish to attend cocktail hour and the reception, please arrive from 6-7:00pm.

Yes, there will be open bar. Open bar begins during cocktail hour at 6:00pm.

What kind of music will be played?
Answer
We will have a DJ. We will be taking you through the decades starting from the 60s and 70s and on. We are expecting a high energy crowd that likes to dance, so expect a lot of dance music, and wear comfortable shoes!

Will there be an after party?

The wedding will end at midnight and we will entertain guests at the Hilton Garden Inn Wayne Lobby area. We will provide drinks and you may BYOB as the bar will be closed after hours.

Can I request who I be seated with?
Answer
Generally, the seating charts will be predetermined by the couple and we will do our best to seat you with the friends and family you know. If you are skeptical about your seating arrangements, please reach out to Jared, Stephanie or your point of contact to best accommodate you.

Is it okay to leave early?
Answer
Yes. We understand everyone is on a different schedule and may not make it until the end of the night. Please do not feel bad if you are unable to say goodbye to the bride and groom.

If I am bringing a gift, will there be a place to put it?
Answer
We appreciate all gifts and thank you for your generosity! Traditionally, we will have a table for cards and envelopes only. If you are ordering something from the registry or want to bring something, we kindly ask that you mail it to our address.

Where should I stay if I am traveling from out of town?

We will have room blocks at the Hilton Garden Inn Wayne. Hilton Garden Inn 15 Nevins Road Wayne, NJ 07470 Pets are allowed at an additional cost.

Will there be a farewell breakfast at the hotel?

What can I expect at the wedding?
Answer
We have invited over 300 people. Please expect a large crowd, lots of socializing, music and food. At 5:00pm, you will be greeted in the lobby with a glass of champagne. The ceremony will take place downstairs where there is limited seating. Seats will be a first come first serve basis. The first two rows will be reserved for immediate family. The ceremony will be about 30 minutes. Cocktail hour will be hosted upstairs at 6:00pm. There will be tables, chairs, open bar, cold and hot appetizers for all. You may mingle in the cocktail room, lobby area, and outdoor area which will be enclosed and heated. At 7:00pm, you will be able to find your seat and table in the ballroom. There will be servers at the table who will take your dinner and drink orders. You will watch the bridal party come out and introduce the newly weds who will then have their first dance, followed by a father and daughter dance and mother and groom dance. We will have a couple of short speeches, a toast, followed by dinner and dancing. We will have a Venetian hour later in the night at the cocktail room, so save room for plenty of coffee and dessert!

Yes. Please check your coats when you arrive and refrain from bringing your coat into the ballroom.

Yes. There is also an elevator in the venue.

Will the wedding be canceled if there is a snowstorm?
Answer
No. The wedding will be on, rain, shine or snow! For your travel safety, we are hoping for the best weather conditions. Unless, there is a natural disaster, the venue will reschedule our wedding date. However, if weather conditions are harsh the day of, we understand if you cannot come last minute! We want everyone to be safe and healthy.

Do I need to select a meal when submitting my rsvp?

No. You will be able to select your entree during the reception.
