Jamie and I were both on a dating app called plenty of fish. We messaged back and forth for a while then decided to meet in person. We were suppose to meet the following Friday after I got out of work. Unfortunately, that didn’t happened as planned. I ended up in the emergency room and stayed the weekend in the hospital. We rescheduled for the following week. It was the following Wednesday when we finally met. We hung out the next four days and the rest is history! October 30th, 2018 his family and I were headed to Flordia for vacation. November 1st was the first time Jamie met my family. He proposed to me on November 4th, 2018. How he proposed wasn’t Jamie’s orginal plan. Two days prior to his proposal he ended up fracturing his patella. It was going to be a candlelight gazebo proposal or after our zipling adventure. With the help of his mom and sister they decorated our room with balloons, streamers and a banner. As I walked back into the room I seen Jamie with a teddy bear and flowers in his hand. As I walked over to him, he grabbed my hand and was speaking from his heart. Then he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him! This is a proposal we’ll never forget.
