Question

What are Aruba's travel requirements?

Answer

Currently, there are no COVID travel requirements or restrictions for Aruba. We will continue to monitor for travel restrictions and update you on any further requirements. You are required to fill out a mandatory embarkation/ disembarkation card online at https://edcardaruba.aw 7 days before travel and add the information to the Aruba Health App on your phone. You should have access to this from your airline confirmation.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Remember passports can take several months to process, so please renew or purchase a new passport ASAP.

Question

What is "beachy cocktail" attire?

Answer

Women: A dress, suit, formal romper, or jumpsuit all work. Feel free to include prints, avoiding anything too loud. If you choose to wear a beachy dress, consider it in either tea-length or maxi to avoid looking too casual. Dressy sandals, chunky heels, and wedges are acceptable footwear options. Men: Consider a breathable fabric such as linen, khaki, or seersucker. While a jacket isn’t required, a breathable sport coat or unique blazer is a fun addition. Feel free to include prints, avoiding anything too loud. Shoes can be a little more casual, but still need to be closed-toe, such as a loafer or deck shoe. Shorts and sandals are not permitted.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Weather permitted, the wedding ceremony will be on the beach. The reception will be indoors.

Question

Do we have to stay at the same resort the wedding is at?

Answer

Due to the resort requiring a high percentage of guests to be staying on site, we do ask that you stay at the Riu Palace Aruba (wedding hotel) or Riu Palace Antillas (sister hotel next door) on at least Thursday, Friday, and another night (3 night minimum) to avoid the resort from denying your attendance. If you extend your vacation feel free to explore the other resorts on the island! *we will be staying at Hotel Riu Palace Aruba

Question

How many nights do I need to stay?

Answer

There is a minimum requirement of a 3-night stay. We hope you can make this a vacation for yourself as well as a celebration with us!

Question

When should we arrive?

Answer

To ensure ample time for flight delays and unplanned travel hiccups, please plan to arrive by the end of day Thursday, April 13, 2023.

Question

How early should I book my resort?

Answer

As soon as you can so rooms do not fill up! You have the option to pay for your room at the time of booking or at the resort, so booking early should be a priority as you must stay at a Riu Hotel to attend the wedding.

Question

How much will attending cost?

Answer

Currently, rates for April 2023 at the Riu Palace Aruba are around $345 per person per day (with a minimum of 2 people per room). Depending on the length of your stay prices will vary. You can also save 10% on your stay if you sign up for the Riu Class Rewards program!

Question

Is the resort all-inclusive?

Answer

The Riu is all-inclusive, which includes all food, drinks, and resort entertainment. You can purchase extras such as spa services and excursions, however there are many other options for you to enjoy without spending extra!
