We are so beyond grateful for everyone's love and support during this time! The biggest gift we can ask for right now is your prayers as we prepare to receive and enter into this sacrament! Your presence at our wedding is a cherished gift in itself. We consider ourselves blessed and happy to already have all that we need in our life together, a true gift from God. If you still wish to honor us with a material gift, we would be incredibly grateful for a contribution to our parish, St. Mark's Catholic Church. Your support would mean the world to us and help our community thrive.
We respectfully ask that only those who have been named on the invitation attend the reception due to venue space. If this answer does not suffice, please reach out to Holden and Stephanie directly and we would be happy to reassess if there will be room to allow for this in your situation! However, for our wedding ceremony at St. Mark's Catholic Church - the more the merrier! We would be honored if others would like to attend and witness our Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
We're not asking guests to "stay unplugged," but we do kindly request that phones be silenced and kept non-distracting during the ceremony. Out of respect for the sacred space in the House of God and in the presence of the Lord Himself, we also ask that phones not be used for entertainment (texts, social media, games, etc.) while in the church. If you’d like to take photos, we kindly ask that you do so only before or after the ceremony — out of respect for the sacred space and outside the presence of the Tabernacle. We’ll have a wonderful team of professional photographers present, capturing every beautiful moment — so you can relax and be fully present with us and the Lord in his House. Thank you for your understanding and helping us maintain a prayerful and respectful atmosphere.
For those attending with invited children, St. Mark's Catholic Church has a lobby located at the entrance of the church. Children are warmly welcomed to remain in the parish, but the lobby is available as a convenient option for a little break if your child needs one. As a reminder, the Mass is a sacred and reflective time, so we kindly ask that all guests, including children, remain respectfully quiet during the service. We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable, and we truly appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a reverent ceremony. Regarding invited children, while we ask that no food or drinks be brought into the church to help preserve the sacred and clean space, we understand that little ones may need a snack or drink during the service. For babies and toddlers, sound-proof snacks and drinks are perfectly fine! Please feel free to bring along something quiet and mess-free to keep your little one content during the ceremony.
Semi-formal. For Mass, we will be in a sacred space with the Blessed Sacrament present. Ladies, please be mindful of covering your necklines (deep-v cut top) and/or shoulders (brig a shawl or light cardigan). Shorts, t-shirts, jeans, short/mini skirts, short/mini dresses, hats, and other casual attire are not appropriate. Thank you for your understanding!
We will have a luncheon and cocktail hour at the reception.
