After a couple of introductions, a mutual friend helped us connect in February of 2021. Casual evening walks around the Richmond Marina after work led to longer weekend hikes and picnics in the Oakland hills. As the season changed from winter to spring, our friendly strolls blossomed into romance. By May, we were both ready for our first summer as a couple. We haven’t looked back since!

The scene was set with an unexpected turn onto Treasure Island. We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon of ceviche and wine, followed by a proposal with music and a view. Afterward, we celebrated our engagement with a meal at one of our favorite restaurants.
