As many do these days, we both searched for love on the internet. For Gideon, many sites fell short. For Stephanie, one was all she needed. Gideon had gone on dates prior to Stephanie, but hadn't found his beshert. Stephanie, new to the dating world was very nervous about putting herself out there. Gideon, bold and brave matched with curious Stephanie. Her side of the story, "he was my one and done". Gideon was the first to have a real conversation with Stephanie, the first to ask her on a date, and the first to sweep her off her feet. She knew from that first date, he was the one. Their endless conversations of OSRUI, world travel, common interests and most exciting, their love for Judaism, She called her parents and told them of this mench, this kind, wonderful gentleman. She knew she had found her equal, her partner in crime, the Batman to her Batman. Her beshert. His side of the story: when Stephanie told Gideon he could get a messy burger on their first date, instead of the clean salad suggested by his mom, he knew "this could work". After a few dates, Gideon asked Stephanie to go to Simchat Torah with him. Stephanie had a blast, and Gideon knew she was the one. A couple days later (10/18/2017 after Cubs vs. Dodgers playoff game) , Gideon finally told Stephanie to turn her Claddagh ring around. For Stephanie, family is everything. So lets face it, when he secretly bought a motorcycle with her parents while she was in Israel, her life changed forever. For Gideon, though he has to live in a "house divided" he loves riding bikes, watching baseball and eating bagels with Stephanie.
