London Square
Just a few minutes from the hotel is London Square - a beautiful, open-air shopping center with beautiful Mediterranean-style architecture and cobblestone paths. It’s the perfect place to wander, grab a bite, or snap a few photos with the gorgeous surroundings. There’s a little something for everyone, from T.J. Maxx/HomeGoods, Ross, Sephora, The Venetian Nail Spa, fun boutique shops and more. When you’re ready for a break, enjoy a meal or coffee at one of the many restaurants such as Tap42, Taco Rico, Starbucks, and Pisco Nazca to name a few! It’s sunny, bright, and full of life — a lovely spot to explore, shop, and soak up the atmosphere while you’re in town.
Miccosukee Golf & Country Club
Miccosukee Golf & Country Club has proudly hosted numerous LPGA and PGA events, including the Miccosukee Championship. Located in the heart of Miami, this Mark Mahannah-designed course is renowned for having one of the best layouts in the South Florida area.
Zoo Miami
Zoo Miami is less than 10 minutes from the hotel. If you love animals or just want a fun day out, we highly recommend Zoo Miami, the largest zoo in Florida and the only subtropical zoo in the continental U.S. Its sprawling open-air exhibits recreate natural habitats for over 2,000 animals, from koalas and tigers to elephants, all set in lush, tropical surroundings. You can explore the zoo on foot, hop on a narrated tram tour, ride a safari cycle, or even paddle around the Amazon & Beyond area on pedal boats. Don’t miss the amazing aviaries, including the Wings of Asia, where colorful birds are everywhere.
Kendall Indian Hammocks Park
There is plenty to do at the lively Kendall Indian Hammocks Park with spaces for a wide range of activities. Sports lovers can take advantage of three lighted softball fields, a grassy soccer area, 36 holes of disc golf and a skate park, while nature aficionados can go birdwatching, wander down nature trails or explore the hardwood hammock and surrounding 32-acre nature preserve. If you want to exercise, head to the outdoor fitness zone – it has adjustable tension equipment for all ages and skill levels. There are also two family playgrounds, one for children five years of age and younger and another for children between the ages of five and 12. A major feature of the park is the 14,000-square-foot skate park, which was inspired by iconic outdoor spaces like Love Park in Philadelphia and the Embarcadero in San Francisco. The Kendall skate park has multiple ramps, a vertical wall and grinding rails with obstacles designed for all levels of skaters.

By Brothers Farm is a family-friendly farm and agritourism park that’s full of surprises. You can visit their petting zoo, enjoy the largest private aviary in the U.S., and marvel at stunning birds like macaws, turacos, fantasy pigeons, and even interact with friendly cockatoos. Take a peaceful stroll around Verona Pond, home to colorful koi, electric blue cichlids, and Romeo and Juliet, the resident swans. Step onto the heart-shaped deck for a perfect photo opportunity. For a little adventure, try the tractor pedal farm track, the giant jump pad, or pedal go-karts — fun for kids and adults alike! They do sell food and drinks on-site, but we recommend skipping eating here (from personal experience) and dining at London Square or one of the many other great spots around town.
The Falls
The Falls is one of the largest open-air shopping, dining and entertainment shopping centers in the US, featuring more than 100 stores, restaurants and cafes including Apple, Bath & Body Works, Coach, Macy's, Pandora, Regal Cinemas and The Fresh Market among others. The Falls also offers exciting dining options like P.F. Chang's China Bistro, BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse, Bulla Gastrobar, True Food Kitchen, Naked Taco and more. The Falls is a unique shopping experience where guests can stroll the one-level, covered walkways surrounded by a million-gallon waterscape and lush tropical foliage.
Dadeland Mall
Dadeland Mall, Miami’s original and most iconic shopping center is anchored by Florida's largest Macy*s, as well as Macy*s Home Gallery & Kids, Saks Fifth Avenue, and JCPenney. This mecca of fabulous fashion and dining destinations spans more than 1.4 million square-feet and features more than 185 retail stores and restaurants. Guests can enjoy al fresco dining with spectacular views of Downtown Dadeland in the Terrace Dining development featuring Aoki Teppanyaki, Earls Kitchen + Bar, Texas de Brazil, Cantina Catrina and Chicken Guy! (coming soon). A chic Fashion Wing with 102,000 square-feet of revamped retail space houses an enviable group of stores BOSS Hugo Boss, Free People, Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, Swarovski, Tesla, Urban Outfitters, Rebag and Stuart Weitzman, among others. Arcade Odyssey
Looking for something fun to do near the hotel? Arcade Odyssey is a barcade just minutes away, offering a perfect mix of nostalgia and modern gaming. You’ll find classic favorites like Pac-Man and Asteroids, newer hits like Mario Kart and Dance Dance Revolution, and even rare games you won’t see anywhere else. They also serve local beers from Wynwood Brewing, Lincoln’s Beard, and MIA Brewing, along with sake, Asian-inspired food (think noodle bowls), and sweet treats like ice cream. There’s no cover charge—just grab tokens and play at your own pace. A full drink menu is available on their website.
Arcade Time Entertainment
If you’re up for a slightly larger adventure and an arcade experience with even more to do, Arcade Time Entertainment is worth the drive! It’s a full-on entertainment destination blending classic and modern arcade gaming with a restaurant and bar vibe all in one place. They’ve got a huge selection of games—from retro cabinets and ticket redemption fun to the latest experiences like virtual-reality and motion simulation attractions, so there’s something for everyone.
Miami Roller Rink
Step back in time and lace up your skates at Miami Roller Rink, the longest-standing and last remaining standalone roller rink in Miami.
