We're Getting Married!

We first met at a wedding in April of 2011. We spent the night dancing, talking, and getting to know each other. After hanging out a couple of times after the wedding, we ended up going our separate ways. Despite being apart for years, there was always a connection between us. In October of 2015, we reconnected and hung out at a family party. We started dating on November 6, 2015 and have been together since. We feel extremely lucky to have each other and believe that we were meant to be!

On December 22nd, we were supposed to go to Eddie's dad's Christmas party for work. We left around 11 am to go to the restaurant. When we pulled into Rensselaer Technology Park, I quickly realized that there was no party and that we were going to Pat's Barn, the place where we first met at my cousin's wedding. When we pulled into the parking lot and got out of the car, Eddie started talking about our relationship and future. I saw a photographer waiting and taking pictures of us. He walked me to the arch and got down on one knee! We were so excited to be engaged and start the next chapter of our lives. Even the wedding party watching from the window came out and cheered for us! We celebrated at brunch and came home to a beautifully decorated apartment with so many vases of flowers, candles, and chilled champagne that our sisters helped put together while we were out and ended the night with a family dinner to celebrate. It was the perfect day!
