Airport options:
1. Humberto Delgado Lisbon International Airport (LIS)
This is the closest airport and has direct flights from Boston (BOS), New York (JFK), Miami (MIA), Chicago (CHI), and Philadephia (PHL)

2. Francisco Sa Carneiro Airport, Porto (OPO)
If you want to spend some time in Porto and northern Portugal during your trip you could fly from OPO. There are currently direct flights from Newark (EWR) and Boston (BOS) with plans for a direct flight from New York (JFK) in 2026.

3. Faro International Airport (FAO)
If you plan to visit the southern Portuguese beaches in the Algarve, FAO is an option. Currently, the only direct flights from the US are from Newark (EWK).

Uber or Bolt
Uber and Bolt are ride share options in Portugal. Bolt consistently has lower fares, so it is worth downloading the App. If you choose not to rent a car, you could take a ride share from the airport to DOMA

There are multiple rental car services at LIS airport. Portuguese drive on the Right side of the road and getting to DOMA from Lisbon was not too difficult. It is a 30 minute drive
