Stephanie needed a job in her sophomore year of college. Her friend’s boyfriend worked at a local grocery store, Price Chopper. She recommended applying there since it was close and super flexible with hours. Stephanie applied and a very soft spoken male left a message on her parent’s answering machine to come in for an interview. Of course the voicemail was from Drew. The interview went well and she was officially hired. Drew and Stephanie didn’t work together much for the first few months. Stephanie then began to work more and started to hang out with some of her coworkers, Drew being one of them. Stephanie was at a coworkers Halloween party and Drew was there. They chatted a lot throughout the party and laughed about work stuff. Drew and Stephanie would text more and chat at work after the party. Drew got moved to a new store so it meant that they would not see each other at work. Once that started, they hung out outside out of work with the group. Eventually Stephanie and Drew started to hangout alone and spend more time together. After some time, they decided to become a couple. Stephanie finished undergrad and moved into graduate school while Drew was working full time. Once Stephanie finished graduate school, she was offered a job in Virginia. Drew decided to take the leap and move to Virginia with her while also getting a new job. The two moved from Pennsylvania to Virginia with their two little dachshunds, Nova and Ren, and it’s been a fun roller coaster ride since!!

Drew and Stephanie booked a vacation to Disney before the pandemic started. As the trip approached, the couple debated on going due to all the restrictions. The couple contemplated going but ultimately decided to go to the most magical place in the world. They were upgraded which made the deal hard to pass up. Drew and Stephanie enjoyed all six days at the parks while venturing to try all the different Disney foods. During the trip, Drew wanted to be adventurous and try new things like going up in a hot air balloon but the weather didn’t cooperate for the special occasion. As the last day quickly approached, Stephanie and Drew were determined to make the best of their vacation. Anyone who is a Disney fan would know the last day is always the hardest and most emotional. Drew’s intention was to propose to Stephanie on the last day of their trip, but Stephanie being her stubborn and emotional self was not having it. He tried several times but the time and moment just was not right. The two got back to the hotel and went on a walk around Disney Riveria property to soak in the last few hours. They stopped at the Tangled moral (lanterns over the castle - see in photos) and chatted for a little bit about the trip. Drew decided this was the perfect moment to propose to Stephanie. He asked and of course she said yes! What can make the vacation more special than being proposed to in the most magical place in the world, Disney! It was such a fairy tale story, just like Stephanie has always dreamed of.
