Dillon and Stephanie first met the week before law school classes started at a night out with future classmates. Stephanie offered to give Dillon and his friend a ride home and on the walk to Stephanie's car Dillon could not remember her name and kept calling her "dinosaur girl." The next day Dillon was embarrassed but figured he wouldn't interact with Stephanie much again. Turns out, when classes started they were in the same section of about 25 people who shared all their classes. They quickly became friends, but it wasn't until seven months later that Stephanie asked Dillon to come over and bake cookies. They've been together ever since. Since they first started dating in 2022 they've accomplished and traveled a lot together. In 2024 they graduated law school, for which they often studied together and supported each other in their individual extracurricular endeavors. In the summer of 2024 they spent almost all their time studying for the bar, often studying together or in separate rooms in the same building. Aside from these milestones they often traveled as a stress reliever, taking trips to Utah, into the mountains in Colorado, and to visit friends and family in the midwest and north east. Stephanie and Dillon often hike on the weekends together and with friends, and Dillon has become Stephanie's newest running buddy. In Colorado, Stephanie and Dillon have built a life in a place where they can do the outdoor activities they love. They are excited to continue building their life together!
