Welcome!

If you ask each of us when we first met, the stories will be different, but the important thing is that we did meet. A brilliant woman from South Florida -- by way of Port-au-Prince, Haiti -- and a handsome, young man from Northwest Indiana somehow ended up in the same city, attending the same University, at the same time. We were good friends for the first three years of college and at times competitors. We can't count how many times we held ping pong tournaments in the basement of South Campus. In our record against each other, one of us is 55-0 (but we won't tell you who). This competitiveness has lasted to this day. You do not want to be around us when we're playing Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers, Mario Party, or FIFA. Our first official date was October 20, 2012 on a holiday known as Sweetest Day in the Midwest. The date consisted of dinner and Stephanie's favorite, froyo. Thousands of dates later (maybe that's overexaggerating), we are still together, best friends, and ready for the next step. On June 25, 2021, Desmond made the best decision of his life and popped the question. Surrounded by family and friends, we embarked on what would be our largest challenge thus far -- preparing for marriage, a family together, and our forever future.
