Question

When & how should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP as soon as you are able to, but no later than April 12th. Please RSVP online via the "RSVP" tab on this website. Please keep in mind, that our hotel room block is on a first come, first serve basis. The hotel block will be available until April 25th.

When will I be able to book my stay with the Seashell?

Answer

Booking will be open early 2025, and will be available through April 25th. You must call the seashell or email for booking 609-492-4611 EXT 1, or groupbookings@theseashellresort.com, if you book via email, you will have to provide your card info via email as well. The hotel will be closed until April, but if you leave a voicemail they will call you back. Please note, you can not book online as we have a room block specifically for our wedding, and you will have to mention you are booking for the Manbodh/Fizzarotti wedding. Booking is on a first come first serve basis, if the Seashell ends up being completely booked, there are other hotels in the area you may book with. Please see the travel page for more details.

How is the travel & traffic getting to The Seashell Resort?

Answer

As most of you may know, we live in a heavy-tourist area. If you plan to come down on the Friday afternoon of the wedding, we suggest leaving your home at least one hour before your GPS timing says. During the summer months, traffic builds very quickly and we would not want you to miss a single second celebrating with us!

What time is hotel check in & check out?

Answer

On the day of the wedding, you will be allowed to check in starting at 3PM. We ask that you arrive at the hotel as close to 3PM as possible, so you have time to get settled before our ceremony starts at 5PM. Check out is 11AM.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive to the hotel and make your way to the beach ceremony area by 4:45PM since we will begin the ceremony at 5PM

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, Formal Attire, Black Tie Optional - Some guidelines below. For Men: Suit with button down dress shirt and optional tie Button down dress shirt with slacks optional tie Any color dress shoes and dark dress socks For Women: Floor-length evening gown Dressy cocktail dress Dressy summer dress Dressy separates Flip flops will be provided for the dance floor! Please, no shorts or T-shirts during wedding ceremony!

Where will the ceremony and reception be?

Answer

We are having the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the Seashell Resort, where we will also have a hotel block room available for our guests as well. The Seashell will allowing booking in the early new year and will communicate once available.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a fairly large parking lot at the SeaShell Resort & Beach Club. If both parking lots happen to be full, there is plenty of street parking available.

What kind of food will you be serving?

Answer

During our cocktail hour, we will have passed and plated hors 'd'oeuvres. During our reception, we will have a buffet-style serving, where there are several selections to choose from to fit any type of diet. We will also be holding a send off breakfast on Saturday morning for anyone who would like to join us before they hit the road.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! We will have plenty of dietary options, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan. If you have a particular allergy, we ask that you let us know ahead of time so that we may communicate the restriction to the venue.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Absolutely, we ask that you please include them in your RSVP so we have an accurate headcount for children.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation, if "and guest" or your plus-one's name is written on your invitation, you may bring someone. When you RSVP, you will see your plus one's name, or children's names as well.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a wedding registry, we are currently accepting contributions to our honeymoon fund! Feel free to check it out under the "registry" tab.
